Name at least four newsgroups that exist specifically for the discussion of spamming and other forms of Internet abuse. What a list I got in response to this question! I asked for the names of at least four newsgroups that exist specifically for the discussion of spamming and other forms of Internet abuse. Many of you complied, listing - among others - the alt.spam, alt.stop.spamming, alt.current-events.net-abuse, news.admin.net-abuse.misc, news.admin.net-abuse.announce, news.admin.net-abuse.blacklist, alt.censorship, alt.cancel.bots, alt.net.scandal and more, but I also heard about alt.food.wine, misc.invest.stocks, alt.games, and alt.abuse.recovery as well as some silly ones like alt.destroy.the.internet, alt.spam.tin, and alt.spam.barf.barf.barf!(Be aware that the alt.* newsgroups are where you'll find most of this nonsense, because they are essentially a free-for-all where literally anything goes. Virtually anyone can form an alt newsgroup and name it anything they like (s you can see). This is also where you may encounter some of the most offensive material. Be warned.)
